President Valentin Sulzer
Tino has rowed since he was at King’s College School and has rowed in M1 for two years, as well as being men’s captain last year. He is a third year studying maths.
Men’s Captain Joseph Stone
Joe took up rowing as a first year and went on to row in M1 during Torpids and Eights. Joe is a qualified water-sports instructor and is a second-year maths student.
Women’s Captain Jane Ellis
Jane is a second year undergraduate studying Chemistry at St Anne’s. She took up rowing as a novice in her first and year and rowed in W1 during Torpids.
Treasurer David Slack
David is third-year mathematician who is returning to his post as treasurer of SABC after a successful year last year. David rowed in M2 during Eights this year as well as negotiating funding changes with college which have helped the boat club’s finances enormously.
Captain of Coxes Sophie Collis
Sophie is a third-year biologist doing her undergraduate. She is a relatively new cox, having only taken it up in Trinity of her second year after being persuaded by the previous Captain, but she took to it extremely quickly and coxed M2 during Eights.
Development Officer Jasmine Spencer
Jasmine is in her third year studying Classics. She took up rowing as a novice in first year and rowed with W1 in Summer Eights this year.
Secretary Rebecca Scott
Rebecca has been rowing since her second year. She is now a fourth year linguist returning to SABC after rowing in Paris during her year abroad.
Men’s Vice Captain Krzysiek Palucki
Kris began rowing in his first year and by the end of the year progressed to obtain a spot in M1 at Summer Eights. He played competitive tennis in Poland for 5 years, and is now a second-year engineer
Women’s Vice Captains Meghan Causer and Rachel Miles
Meghan and Rachel both started rowing as novices in first year and rowed in W2 together during Eights. They study History and Maths respectively
Men’s Captain of Lower Boats Tiber Karadag
Tiber is a physics student on a four-year masters course who also took up rowing only a year ago, persuaded by many of his rowing friends and rowed in M2 during Torpids and Eights
Women’s Captain of Lower Boats Victoria Morrish
Vickie is an English student in her third year at St Anne’s and only started rowing at Easter Training camp, but a very fast erg time and a good deal of dedication saw her rowing in W2 for Eights.
Men’s Social Sec Edward Rolls
Former Men’s captain of the Boat Club and last year’s social sec, Eddie has been rowing since he was at Tiffin School and has been an M1 rower for the past three years. He is in his fourth and final year of studying Maths.
Women’s Social Secs Alison Russel and Abigail Whiteley
Alison and Abi took up rowing together at the beginning of Michaelmas term as novices have both rowed in Torpids and Eights. They are doing English and French respectively.
